Magazines

Magazines (serials) for adults, children and teenagers are available at all North Shore libraries and may be borrowed for 2 weeks, and are generally able to be renewed once. You may place a reserve for particular issues, for which a reservation fee of $1 will be charged.
 

Reference magazines may be found in other collections within Takapuna Library (e.g. Angela Morton collection). These may not be borrowed but may be read within the library.

 

Takapuna Library keeps all the back issues of some titles, particularly New Zealand publications. Check the catalogue to find out which collection they are in. These back issues are useful when the electronic resources/databases do not supply full text articles.
