Parking

• One hour parking underneath the library. The car park is sometimes reserved for functions, reserved zones are displayed on a small whiteboard as you drive in through the front entrance.
• Metered parking lot across the road.
• Three hour parking near the Takapuna Holiday Park

About

Takapuna library was first opened in 1879 and is home to the Angela Morton New Zealand Art Collection, New Zealand Collection and Official Publication Collection.

Takapuna Library has a community notice board and a mezzanine display area. Notices for the notice board should be handed to the front desk of the library, while inquiries about the display area should be directed to Gillian Woods at Takapuna Library. More information about the Displays Policy.
