This debut novel from Tiffany Baker is an absolute treasure to read. I quickly became engrossed in the story of Truly, born with a genetic condition that keeps her growing until she is larger than everyone around her. This is ultimately a love story set in small town America, about family dramas and friendships which are at times eccentric, sometimes dark, but also light, refreshing and funny. There are twists and turns as the story unfolds when old family secrets are uncovered and the consequences of what happens with that knowledge change Truly's path forever.

Beautifully written, Truly's strength of character shines through the heartache of being different. Warm and compassionate, it made me think about how we treat people that 'look different' but are actually just the same as you or me. Highly recommended.
